1935 ~ 2015

Jo Ann Stinnett, 80, Grant City, Missouri, formerly of Skidmore, Missouri, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at SSM Hospital, Maryville, Missouri. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.

JoAnn was born July 29, 1935, the daughter of William and Minnie (Ott) Hoffman in Oregon, Missouri. JoAnn was married to Ira Perry, Donald Spillman and AB "Babe" Stinnett, whom she married on August 3, 1965 in Bozeman, Montana. From these marriages nine children were born: Debra Perry, Bob Perry, Scott Spillman, Gail Spillman, Danny Stinnett, Janie Stinnett, Terry Stinnett, Sandra Stinnett and Juanita Stinnett.

She was a homemaker, painter, baker and an avid gardener who loved her flowers.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Babe, on January 6, 2006; a son: Bobby Perry; siblings: Cleo, Junior, Beverly, Neta and Lola and grandchildren: Lewis Teagarden Jr, Branson Perry and Wendy Gillenwater.

Survivors include her children: Debra Moore and husband: Robert, Grant City, Missouri; Scott Spillman and wife: Sherry, Kansas City, Missouri; Gail MacMurray, Grant City, Missouri; Danny Stinnett and wife: Patricia, Maitland, Missouri; Janie Lent, Skidmore, Missouri; Terry Stinnett and wife: Nettie, Skidmore, Missouri; Sandra Gillenwater, Rae, Missouri; Jaunita Poppa and her husband, Mike, Maryville, Missouri; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

Funeral Services will be 4:00 pm, Friday, August 14, 2015, at Price Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery, Skidmore, Missouri.

Memorials may be given to the Mission Possible Food Pantry, Grant City, Missouri.
