William Sobbing
1949-2017

William R. Sobbing, 67, Bedford, IA passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home on Wednesday, March 15, 2017..

Known as Bill, Willy, Two Turtles, Subs and Uncle Mario, he was born on September 17th 1949 in Maryville MO to Raymond "Pete" and Mildred Ethel (Wilson) Sobbing. Bill married the Love of his life Julie Jo Lininger on August 23rd 1993 in Bedford, Iowa.

Bill spent most of life having fun and enjoying what he loved most. Spending time with his children doing whatever it was they wanted to and a lil' later it was fishing with the grandkids and making soap box derby cars and when he wasn't doing those things he had been employed by Sleeps Tile Yard in Bedford, Iowa.

Preceding in death were his parents Pete and Mildred, wife Julie Jo Sobbing (January 19, 2009) and son Steve Starks.

Bill is survived by his children: Lori (Gary) Bollinger, Jim Sobbing, Larry (Tisha) Ellis, Candi Djurich, Earl (Megan) Griffith, Randy (Jessica) Griffith, Clint Starks, Trisha (Ron) Erxleben; sisters Margaret Palmer and Norma Wilson, brother Joe Sobbing and several nieces "Rita his favorite" and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1-2 PM, Saturday, March 18th, at Price Funeral Home, Maryville, followed by Funeral Services at 2 PM. Burial will be at White Oak Cemetery in Pickering, MO.

At the request of Bill and His Family Please dress casual.
