Tracy Proffit
1954-2017

Tracy Lee Proffit, 63, Maryville, Missouri died November 3, 2017, at home after a long illness.

He was born in Holt County, Missouri January 9, 1954 to Delmer Eugene "Doc" and Loretta June Mackey Proffit. Tracy attended Skidmore High School and married Debbie Priest October 11, 1972.

Tracy was a mechanic who, along with his wife, owned and operated Maryville Muffler and Auto for many years. He was a gun advocate, had a gun shop at one time and also loved having coffee talk at home with friends, family and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother Marty.

Tracy is survived by his wife, Debbie of the home, son, Chris (Amber) Proffit, daughter, Tara (Jeff) Lyle, Maryville, grandson Trystan Lee "Bean" Lyle, Maryville; siblings Rick Proffit, Terry (Barb) Proffit, and Kent Proffit, all of Wyoming, Pam (Deno) Jones, Georgia, Chrissy Dale (Ron) Adsit, N. Dakota and Jon Proffit, Oregon and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 5:00-7:00pm Monday, November 6th, Price Funeral Home, Maryville.

Funeral: 10:00am Tuesday, November 7th, also at Price Funeral Home,
with burial following at Groves Cemetery, Graham.

In lieu of flowers: Tracy Proffit Benefit Fund, c/o Nodaway Valley Bank.
