Tammy Mather, 78, of Burlington Junction, Missouri passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the Bryan Medical Center West in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Tammy was born on November 6, 1947, to Robert and Wanita (Hiley) Wilson, Sr. She was a 1965 graduate of West Nodaway High School. Tammy had worked for The Daily Forum, The Clarinda Company, Easter's and for many years supported her parents and family via their feed store, Wilson Feed, located at the "T" on Highway 71 in Burlington Junction. More importantly Tammy loved her role as a homemaker, wife, and mother. Tammy loved the simple things in life. She enjoyed playing cards and was a seventy-three-year member of the Rolla Dicks American Legion Auxiliary Unit 315.

She married Gary G. Mather on January 1, 1966, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death on June 24, 2025. She was also preceded by her parents and daughter-in-law, Lorri Mather, two brothers, Robert Wilson, Jr. and Kip Wilson, sister, Terri Kenagy, brother-in-law, Virgil Mather and sister-in-law, Tammy Moore.

Survivors include her children, Cathy Mather and Corey Mather; brothers-in-law, Kenny Mather, James (Susie) Mather, Phil (Maria) Mather, Steve (Barb) Mather and Duane Moore; sisters-in-law, Marilyn (Melvin) Hicks, June (Dave) Tucker, Connie (Ed) Gebhards, Jean Wilson and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services 10:30am Friday, July 17th at Price Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Ohio Cemetery in Burlington Junction, Missouri. The family will gather with friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, July 16th at the funeral home.
