Diane Smock, 63, Maitland, Missouri, died May 13, 2016, at her home, Maitland, Missouri.

Diane was born June 19, 1952, in Maryville, Missouri to Glen Edwin and C. Irene (Headrick) Renshaw.

A 1970 graduate of Nodaway Holt High School, and a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University with degrees in home economics and special education, Diane was a teacher and paraprofessional in the Nodaway Holt and Maryville Schools.

She married Robert Smock on May 22, 1971, in Maryville, Missouri.

Diane was a former member of the Eastern Star and was an avid quilter and crocheter.

Preceding in death were her father Glen Edwin Renshaw (March 3, 1986) and her father and mother-in-law William and Jeanette Smock.

Survivors include her husband Robert Smock of their home,

Travis (Katie) Smock and children Josie and William , Savannah, MO,;
Christopher (Elaina) Smock and children Abigail, Henry, and Ivan, Skidmore, MO;
her mother Irene Renshaw, Maryville;
sister- n-law Mary Coates, St. Joseph, Missouri,
and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation will be held 6- 8:00 PM, Monday, May 16, 2016, at Price Funeral Home, Maryville, Mo.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at Price Funeral Home, Maryville, with burial following in Maitland Cemetery, Maitland, MO.

Memorials may be made to the New Nodaway Humane Society, Nodaway Holt FFA Chapter, and Nodaway Holt Ball Association in Diane's name.
