Shirley McMillen
1931 - 2020

Shirley McMillen, 89, of Maryville, Missouri passed away early on March 14, 2020 with her family by her side.

Shirley was born on March 10, 1931 in Maryville, Missouri to Floyd A. and Clara Bailey. She worked at Citizen State Bank and was a homemaker and bookkeeper for McMillen Oil Company. She loved spending time with her family. Shirley enjoyed taking care of her yard and flowers, sitting on her porch swing watching friends go by was a favorite pastime.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Dutch.

She married Kenny McMillen on November 5, 1950 in Maryville and will have been married 70 years this November. He survives of the home. Additional survivors include their children, Sherry, Kenna (Denny) and Kevin (Michelle); four grandchildren, Casey (Kara) Parman, Jessie (Nathan) Prettyman, Kenzie McMillen and Betsy (Joel) Nespory; four great-grandchildren, Parker, Paxton, Piper and Porter Prettyman, Elsie and Baby Nespory, and Jack Parman.

A Private Family Service will be held under the care of Price Funeral Home with burial at Miriam Cemetery. No visitation will be held. The family suggests memorials to the First Christian Church of Maryville. www.pricefuneralhomemaryville.com.
