Sarah Elizabeth Clark, 72, died October 31, 2023 at home in Omaha, Nebraska.

Sarah was born on October 10, 1951 in Glenridge, New Jersey and grew up in Metuchen, New Jersey, Cedar Rapids, Iowa and West Webster, New York.

Sarah graduated from R.L Thomas High School in Webster, N.Y.

After graduating from Albion College in Michigan in 1973, Sarah worked as a legal assistant in Washington, D.C. before attending McGeorge School of Law School in Sacramento, California. Sarah passed the bar in California and Texas.

She worked at Jackson Walker Law Firm in Dallas, Texas before moving to the midwest to be nearer family.

She worked for the Internal Revenue Service in Kansas City before retiring to work as an independent legal contractor. She then moved to Maryville, Missouri where she lived for several years before moving temporarily to Clarinda, Iowa and finally to Omaha, Nebraska.

Sarah was a member of the First Baptist Church of Maryville and enjoyed knitting, quilting, and interior decorating, reading and watching British TV shows. She loved animals and owned many dogs and cats over the years who provided her with great companionship.

Her nieces and nephews were a great joy to her and she spent as much time as she could with them.

She was active in the DAR, and P.E.O.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rollo and Alyce Clark.

She is survived by her three sisters Pamela Rees(Robert), West Des Moines, Iowa, Deborah Clark, Maryville, Missouri, and Candace Montgomery (Clark); 2 nephews-Dane Montgomery (Mallory), Reade Montgomery (Rachelle)as well as two great nieces - Ava and Eleanor and one great nephew- Daniel, all in the Kansas City, Missouri area.

There will be a graveside service at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Hiawatha, Kansas, on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 11 am. The family suggests memorials in memory of Sarah Clark to Waubonsie MHC, 216 W. Division Street, Clarinda, Iowa 51632.
