Richard Eugene "Rick" Kemper, 49, Maryville, Missouri, died Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Prairie Home in Maryville.

Rick was born May 14, 1967, in Maryville, to Louis Joseph and Teresa Marie Runde Kemper.

A graduate of Helen Davis State School, he was employed by NOCOMO Industries.

Rick was a member of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church, Maryville. He participated in Special Olympics. Rick loved bowling, country music, movies, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Louis Kemper, sister Vera Brady and brother Jimmie Kemper.

Surviving him is his family at Prairie Home, mother Teresa Kemper Price, Maryville; siblings: Sr. Mary Kemper, O'Fallon, MO, John Kemper, Floodwood, MN, Teresa (Robert) Kemper, Kansas City, KS, Ronald (Brenda) Kemper, Stanberry, MO, Lois (Roy) Schieber, Platte City, MO, Dolores (Stephen) Schroff, Roeland Park, KS, Marcella (John) Bell, Raymore, MO, Tom (Ruth) Kemper, Conception Jct. MO, Donna (Greg) Hall, Leawood, KS, Steve (Sandra) Kemper, Conception Jct, MO, Marilyn (Mark) Wunder, Bloomington, IL, Agnes (Dennis) Anderson and Pete (Macia) Kemper, both of Barnard, MO.

Family and Parish Rosary, 7 PM Friday at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church, Maryville, followed by a visitation.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Saturday, March 18, also at St. Gregory Church. Burial will follow at St. Columba Cemetery, Conception, MO.
