Patricia (Pat) A. Gilbert, 69, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Anew Healthcare of Savannah.

Pat was born on August 28, 1954 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Orvis and Naomi (Willis) Keck. She graduated from Laurel High School.

After serving in the United States Army, she enjoyed raising her children and fishing. She rescued animals and had many pets, including beloved dog, Paco. She enjoyed telling anyone she met about her children, grandchildren and great granddaughter.

Pat was a beloved supporter of the Noyes Home for Children and loved telling everyone she met all about their mission.

She married Ron Gilbert on July 1, 1988 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 1, 2021. She was also preceded by her parents, granddaughter, Nevaeh Boston and her brother, Roland Giles.

Survivors include two daughters, Dacia (Johnny) Boston and Jessica (Michael) Celaya; step-daughters, Sherry (David) Darchuk, Lori Gilbert, Linda (Phil) Schiltz, and Mary Leeann Williams; grandchildren, Victoria (Pedro), Eunice,              Anthony (Hattie), and Gordon, and 14 step-grandchildren, great-granddaughter Cynthia and 27 step-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to The Noyes Home for Children

Mrs. Gilbert has been cremated under the care of Price Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
