Pamela S.
Barry
Feb 12, 1962 — Nov 21, 2024
Canton
Pamela S. Barry, 62, of Canton, Georgia, formerly of Maryville, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Manor Lake Assisted Living in Canton, Georgia, after a battle with early-onset dementia.
Pamela was born on February 12, 1962, in Maryville, Missouri, to Harlan and Shirley (Hudson) Loch. She was a 1980 graduate of Maryville High School.
She spent her early years traveling across the United States, creating a loving home for her family as a stay-at-home mom. Later in life, Pamela found joy and connection working in the hospitality industry at several restaurants.
Pamela was a gifted gardener with a remarkable green thumb and enjoyed crafting in her free time. Her home was always warm and welcoming—a true reflection of her patient and kind spirit. She loved animals dearly and always had a beloved cat or dog by her side, finding comfort and joy in their companionship.
Known for her creativity, her appreciation for nature, and her clever sense of humor, Pamela brought laughter and joy to those around her. She was deeply compassionate and had a way of making everyone feel at home in her presence.
Above all, Pamela cherished her friends and family, who were the center of her life. She found her greatest joy in spending time with loved ones, building meaningful connections, and creating lasting memories with those closest to her.
Pam leaves behind her daughter, Sarah (Kasey) Wright of Canton, Georgia; two grandchildren, Avery and Lyla Wright; two sisters, Sherry Calhoun of Phoenix, Arizona, and Vicky (John) Judah of Maryville, Missouri; her brother, Greg Loch of Kansas City, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. Pamela also leaves behind a lot of cherished close friends including Barbara Hatfield, Connie Murphy, Maureen Wilding and Pam Dougan.
Pamela has been cremated under the care of Price Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, at Price Funeral Home, with burial following at Hopkins Cemetery in Hopkins, Missouri. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Following the cemetery services, the family will welcome friends at the Hopkins Community Center.
The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer's Association.
