Max Holaday Miller 85 of Ericson, NE, formerly of Graham, MO, died Tuesday July 12, 2016, surrounded by his family, at Community Memorial Health Center, Burwell NE.

Max was born to Valentine Floyd and Lillie Blanche (Holaday) Miller on June 30, 1931,near Graham, MO.

He attended Miller School, Graham High School and Northwest Missouri State Teachers College, graduating in 1953. He served in the US Army from 1953 till 1955.

Max married Jo Ann Cutler on August 17, 1952 in Northboro, IA. She proceeded him in death. He married Wanda (Ditmars) Linke in August 1984. Wanda died in July 2001. Max married Kay (Pitzer) Brinkman in August 2004 in Ericson, NE. She survives of their home in Ericson.

Max was a lifelong farmer and insurance agent in the Graham, MO area, where he was a member of Bethany Christian Church, a 50 year member of the Masonic lodge and a member of the Graham Lions Club. He enjoyed camping, going South in the winter, collecting gas station memorabilia and classic cars, and wood-working.

Preceding Max in death are his parents, two wives, an infant daughter (Lori Ann Miller), sister and brother-in-law, Joyce Eleanor and Wilbur Cole, brother-in-law Neil Cutler and daughter-in-law Cindy Miller.

In addition to his wife, survivors include his three sons: Jeff and wife Pamela of Ericson, NE; Steve and wife Rita of Maryville, MO; and Dan and wife Denise of Red Oak, IA. Grandchildren include Tom Miller and wife Amy, Ord, NE; Mike Miller, Omaha, NE; Royce Miller, Ericson, NE; Randy Miller and wife Martina of Macon, MO; Russ Miller and wife Loni Jo of Graham, MO; Jackson Miller and Andrea Miller of Red Oak, IA. Three great grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews, step-children and step-grandchildren.

Visitation is 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, July 15, at Price Funeral Home, Maryville MO with a Masonic Service to follow.

Funeral Services and Burial will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, July 16, at Bethany Christian Church, Barnard MO,

Memorials may be made to the Bethany Christian Church, 23251 390th Street Barnard, Missouri.
