Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Parker, 87, St. Joseph, Missouri died Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at LaVerna Village Nursing Home in Savannah.

She was born November 29, 1929 in Maryville, Missouri to Floyd A. and Mary Margaret "Mamie" Dougan Pope.

A graduate of Maryville High School, she became a Triple AAA agent and served as a travel agent for many years. When living in Maryville Betty first attended St. Patrick's Church and then later St. Gregory's Barbarigo Catholic Church. After moving to St. Joseph she attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Betty married Vancil Icke and they later divorced. She was then married to Floyd Dale Parker, who preceded her in death.

Also precedeing in death were her parents; four brothers: Earl, Harold, John and Lt. Floyd A. Pope Jr and great-granddaughter Emma Simbro.

Betty is survived by her son David (Natalie) Icke, Savannah; four grandchildren, Lisa Simbro, Latisha Little, Cody Icke and Bliss Icke and three step-grandchildren, Amy Moore, Travis Atkins and Amy Lujan and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Friday at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Interment will be in St Patrick's Cemetery.
