Dean Heflin, 84, of Pickering, Missouri passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at the St. Lukes Hospice in Kansas City, Missouri.

Dean was born on  July 24, 1940 in Maryville, Missouri to Martin and Ogle (McKee) Heflin. He was a 1958 graduate of Maryville High School. He was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of Laura Street Baptist Church and the Missouri Valley Gem & Mineral Society.

He married Darlene K. McCauley on July 11, 1987 in Ottawa, Kansas. She preceded him in death on January 6, 2024. He was also preceded by his parents.

He is survived by his son Shawn (Laura) Mikelson, four grandchildren, Hannah, Hayden, Heath and Harper; brother, Eldon Heflin.

Services 10am Monday, August 26th at Laura Street Baptist Church under the care of Price Funeral Home. Burial Orrsburg Cemetery, Orrsburg, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Sunday, August 25th at Price Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to the Charles Stanley Ministries.
