Margaret Jane (Underwood) DeBord, 86, formerly of Maryville, Missouri passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024 at Pineview Manor in Stanberry, Missouri.

Margaret was born on September 2, 1937 on the farm near St. Joseph, Missouri to John and Bessie (Barton) Underwood. She was a member of the Ravenwood Christian Church. She loved horses, dancing, primitive rendezvous and turquoise jewelry. But she cherished her family the most. They were her Pride & Joy. She never met a person who wasn't handsome or beautiful.

She married Robert F. DeBord on June 23, 1955 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He preceded her in death on August 15, 2011. She was also preceded by her parents, son, Kenny DeBord and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her children, Craig (Terry) DeBord, Sonja (Kevin) Stiens and Kevin DeBord; brother, Marvin (Ann) Underwood; sister, Helen (Harold) Cline; her grandchildren, Brandy Graham, James DeBord, Jennifer Files, Hilliary Worley, Travis DeBord, McKenzie Pshigoda and Stephanie McIntyre and several great-grandchildren.

Mrs. DeBord has been cremated under the care of Price Funeral Home. A private family service will be held at a later date at the Maitland Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials to the Ravenwood Christian Church.
