Lawrence "Butch" Schieber, 93, of Maryville, Missouri passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025 at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri.

Butch was born on August 2, 1931 in Conception, Missouri to Lawrence J. and Eleanor A. (Lager) Schieber. He was a graduate of Conception High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Butch was a lifelong farmer and member of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church, 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and the American Legion Post #464.

He married Mary Louise Cicewski on July 19, 1969 in Atchison, Kansas. She preceded him in death on October 5, 2011. He was also preceded by his parents, three brothers, Fred Schieber, Andy Schieber and Ed Schieber and two sisters, Beatrice Rogers and Agnes Welliver.

Survivors include two sons, Lawrence (Jennifer) Schieber, Jr. and Michael (Traci) Schieber; brother, Martin Schieber; two sisters, Monica Schieber and Martha Copley.

Rosary 6pm Tuesday, January 28th at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. The family will receive friends following the rosary until 7pm.

Mass of Christian Burial 11am Wednesday, January 29th at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church under the care of Price Funeral Home. Burial St. Patrick's Cemetery in Maryville.
