Larry Tobin
1938-2017

Lawrence (Larry) Joseph Tobin, 78, Maryville, Missouri died Friday, June 23, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City.

He was born September 15, 1938 in Maryville to the late Thomas Joseph and Edna O'Day Tobin. Larry was a graduate of Maryville High School.

Larry and Alicia Ann Moffat were married February 23, 1963 in Maryville. Larry was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Larry served as a Polk Township Rural Firefighter and currently was on the Polk Township Fire Board. He was a member of St Gregory's Barbarigo Catholic Church in Maryville.

Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, Alicia Tobin (May 2, 2017), daughter Melissa Henggeler, three brothers: Kenneth, Phil and Jerome Tobin and two sisters: Thelma Moyer and Marcella Wiles.

Surviving Larry is his son Tim Tobin, Maryville; grandchildren: Brett (Sara) Henggeler and Lane, Wyatt, Kami and Kolt Tobin and great-grandchildren: Reed and Raegynn Henggeler.

Parish Rosary will be held 6:30 PM, Sunday June 25, 2017, followed by the visitation from 7:00-8:00 PM , at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church, Maryville.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Monday, June 26th, St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be sent to Rural Polk Township Fire Board or Big Brothers Big Sisters.
