Kathryn Strueby
1939-2016

Kathryn Lucille Strueby, 76, died at her home in Conception Junction, Missouri, Wednesday, November 23, 2016.

Kay was born December 5, 1939 in Arkoe, Missouri to Glenn and Helen (Mattson) Allen. She and Thomas Gregory Julius Strueby were married On August 31, 1957 in Conception, Missouri.

She was a 1957 graduate of Horace Mann High School in Maryville and had worked in the shipping and receiving department of the Maryville Wal-Mart.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Tom Strueby (August 31, 2016); son Gregory Strueby; two brothers Robert and Harold Allen and two sisters Doris Curry and Lois Smith.

Kay is survived by her sons David (Jennifer) Strueby, Maryville and Jeffrey (Ronda) Strueby, Conception Jct.; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, sister Judy Lyons, Maryville and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A Parish Rosary will be held at 5:00 PM, Friday, November 25, 2016, at St. Columba Catholic Church, Conception Junction. It will be followed by a visitation from 5:30-8:00 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 26th also, at St. Columba Catholic Church, with burial to follow in St. Columba Cemetery, Conception.
