Joyce Y. (Schmitt) Davison, 87, of Maryville, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at her home.

Joyce was born on March 1, 1938 in Columbia, Missouri to the late George and Virginia (Homan) Schmitt. She was a 1956 graduate of Gallatin High School and attended the University of Missouri, Columbia. She was a homemaker and member of the First Christian Church of Maryville and the First Christian Church of Gallatin, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star and P.E.O.

She married Kenneth L. Davison on September 8, 1957 in Gallatin, Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 2, 2011.

Survivors include her children, Jenny (C.K.) Satyavelu, Kenneth (Kerri) Davison, Jr., and Kathryn Humphrys; sister, Charlene Lucken; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and her companion, Don Hemry.

Mrs. Davison has been cremated under the care of Price Funeral Home. A private family service will be held Hopkins Cemetery at a later date. In memory of Joyce, her family has requested memorials to a charity of your choice.
