John Lesher, 75, of Maryville, Missouri passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at his home.

John was born on August 28, 1949 in Minden, Iowa to Clyde and Bernice (Graves) Lesher. He was a 1968 graduate of Bedford High School. He worked for Energizer for 35½ years. John was a member of Laura Street Baptist Church, Eagles Lodge and enjoyed golf and crafting.

He married Mary Gamble on October 26, 1991 in Red Oak, Iowa. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include son, Mike (Debbie) Lesher, daughter, Michele (Gary) Helberg; two step-sons, Wayne Gamble and Laverne (Sheryl) Gamble; two step-daughters, Aloma Welch and Irene (Richard) Field; three sisters, Ruth (Milburn) Taylor, Naomi Brumfield and Myra (Denny) Lock; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Dellamae "Dee" Mernin, Pauline "Polly" Hulse and four brothers, Lyle Lesher, Paul "Bud" Lesher, Gary Lesher and Marion "Ross" Lesher.

Services 11am Saturday, March 1st at Laura Street Baptist Church under the care of Price Funeral Home. Burial Washington Cemetery in Gravity, Iowa. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The family suggests memorials to Laura Street Baptist Church or the American Heart Association.
