Jo Ella Gill
1936-2017

Jo Ella Gill, 81, Maryville, MO passed away October 8, 2017 at Maryville Living Center.

Jo was born on August 3, 1936 in Maryville to John A. "Stub" and Neola M. (Noles) Gill.

A graduate of Northwest Missouri State University, with a BS in Elementary Education, she also earned an MA at Northwest in Remedial Reading and Administration.

Jo worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs and taught English as a second language at the University of New Mexico, and worked as a child development specialist at the University of Colorado.

In 1975 Jo became the City Clerk of Maryville and retired May 31, 2006.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother John A. "Jack" Gill, III.

Memorial Services will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at Price Funeral Home, Maryville.

Per her request, Jo has been cremated under the care of Price Funeral Home.
