Services for Jeffery "Tigger" Thornton Jr. will be at 2PM, Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Magnolia Funeral Home, Masonic Drive Chapel, Alexandria, LA with Westly Thornton officiating. Visitation will be from 1PM until time of service at 2PM, Saturday, September 9th at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Belah Cemetery, Trout, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria.

Jeffery Wayne Thornton, Jr., 24, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed away August 30, 2023. He was born April 29, 1999 in Huey P. Long Hospital, Pineville, LA. In October 2015, Jeffery met Kayla Busch and went on to have one daughter, Bella Rose Thornton. He was a man of many talents including mechanicing, skateboarding, welding, but his true passion was on a tow boat. He loved all things ATVs and trucks. Jeffery's whole world consisted of his daughter, a pack of Marlboro reds and asking his momma for $20. He sure did love his momma.

He was preceded in death by Willie Morris Thornton, Theresa Morgan, Zula MacKenzie, Bryan Billodeau Sr. and Michael Paul Wayde Wilson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his fiancé, Kayla Busch; daughter, Bella Rose Thornton; mother, Barbara Vickers; fathers, Jeffery Thornton Sr. and Marvin Vickers; siblings, Felicia Neucere, Westly Thornton, Braydon Thornton and Savannah Holton; cousin/partner in crime, Laci Vidrine; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jeffery Thornton, Sr., Westly Thornton, Braydon Thornton, Robert Hawkins, Cody Neucere, Mackenzee Patten, Jarod Vickers and Rylee Bordelon.
