Barbara "Jane" Elmore Lager
1958- 2017
Surrounded by her loving family, Jane Lager, 58 peacefully passed into heaven on September 11, 2017, in her home, after waging a fierce battle against esophageal cancer.

Born Barbara Jane Elmore on Oct. 24, 1958, she was the daughter of Merrill and Beverly (Busby) Elmore, Burlington Jet., MO. A 1976 graduate of West Nodaway High School, Burlington Jet., she received a
bachelor's degree in Accounting from Northwest Missouri State University in 1980. In 1981 she began a 35-year career as a banking professional with Citizen State Bank (now Bank Midwest).

She married the love of her life, John Andrew Lager, September 9,1986, in Miami, OK. They had a daughter, Bethany, and were parents to his daughters: Shelie, Melinda and Trica. Jane's greatest joy was her family; she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, - and a true friend to so many.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years; her mother, Beverly Elmore, Maryville; a sister, Joni Elmore Power, jacksonville, FL; four daughters and nine grandchildren: Bethany Lager (James Peeler), Harbyn and Korbyn Wray, Kansas City, MO; Shelle Lager McGovern (Chris), Kylie and Cooper, Woodbury Heights, NJ; Melinda Lager Eubank (Wyatt), Reiland and Rhett, Cincinnati, Ohio; and Trica Lager Olson (Anthony Claybourne), Brynn and Mya Olson, Grayson Claybourne, and Courtney Crooks, West DeMoines, Iowa; as well as many loving in-laws, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Merrill; her infant brother, Ricky; her grandparents and other relatives.

Mass of Christian Buriail 11am Friday, September 15th at St. Gregory's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Maryville.

Rosary 5:30pm Thursday evening at St. Gregory's Catholic Church. The
family will receive friends following the rosary from 6:00 to 8:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Jane Lager Memorial Fund in care of Bank Midwest, Maryville, MO. Jane's
family also requests casual dress.
