James L. Kochenderfer Jr
April 19, 1961-April 24, 2017

James "Jimmy" L. Kochenderfer Jr (age 56) gained his angel wings April 24, 2017.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Kochenderfer (Magers) and his favorite Uncle - Jake Kochenderfer, step-brothers William and Edward Evans.

Jimmy was a high school graduate of Bishop Leblond and a member of the BAC local Union 15 for 25+ years.

Jimmy loved spending time with friends and family; but most of all he loved time spent with his fur baby Shilo. He had a passion for building structures and working with his hands as a bricklayer. Jimmy loved joking around with his kids and playing a variety of games. He was always singing songs to try and make light of stressful situations. Jimmy will be remembered for his infectious smile and joking personality.

Jimmy is survived by his father James L. Kochenderfer and step-mom Patricia; brothers Jason and Tim and sister Linda; sons Jake Kochenderfer and D.J.; daughters Kandi (Kyle) and LaShelle; grandsons Kaden and Kooper.

Jimmy was also blessed with 2 bonus children K.D. and Michael Madsen, several nieces and nephews.

Jimmy will be honored with a celebration of life on May 13th at UCP (3303 Frederick Avenue, of Saint Joseph, MO) from 5:00-7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations on his behalf to go towards a memorial brick wall being built within UCP.
