Jim Colville
1932-2017

James Edgar Colville, 84, Pickering, Missouri died Monday, August 14, 2017, at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.

He was born December 23, 1932 to James Vernon and Ruby Violet Baldwin Colville. Jim was a 1951 graduate of Maryville High School and also attended Northwest Missouri State.

On January 26, 1958, Jim and Connie Lue McIntyre were united in marriage at the Maryville First Christian Church.

Jim was a lifetime farmer. He was a member of the Maryville First Christian Church, Men's Forum, and a fomer Pickering Lion's Club member and served on the boards of MFA, ASCS and for many years, the Hopkins School Board.

Preceding Jim in death were his parents and brother-in-law Roger Harmon.

Jim is survived by his wife Connie, of the home, son Darin Colville, Pickering, MO, daughter Diane (Eric) Snieski, Bentonville, AR, three grandsons Alex, Brendan and Collin Snieski, brother Robert (Jan) Colville, Maryville, sisters Helen (Duane) Quinn, Blue Jay, CA and Cathryn Harmon, Atwater, CA and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 16th from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Maryville First Christian Church.

The Funeral service will be 2:00 PM , Thursday, August 17th, also at the First Christian Church. Burial will be in Hopkins Cemetery.
