Georgia "Jo" Fisher, 79, of Maryville, Missouri passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Maryville Living Center.

Georgia was born on January 12, 1945 in Olney, Texas to "G.I." George Irvin and Elsie (Thorpe) Guenther. She was a 1962 graduate of West Nodaway High School and graduated from Nursing School in 1966.

She married Lorace S. Fisher on January 25, 1969 in Maryville, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 10, 2004. She was also preceded by her parents and sister, Frances Nielson.

Survivors include her children, Tammy Fisher (Larry Bunker), Dorothy (Richard) Wilson, Ann Volner (Shane Adwell), Linda (Ryan) Maurer and Mike Fisher (April Thompson); seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Neff.

Services 2pm Saturday, December 21st at Price Funeral Home. Burial Myrtle Tree Cemetery, Maryville, Missouri. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, at 1pm.

Memorials are suggested to the New Nodaway Humane Society.
