Gary Earl Joy, 72, Denver, Missouri died on Sunday, November 27, 2016, at North Kansas City Missouri Hospital.

Born August 23, 1944, he was the son of Ray Stanley and Viola (Wilson) Joy. He married Sandra Kay Weeks October 30, 1983 who survives of the home.

He was a graduate of North Kansas City High School, member of the Denver Community Church, and was a radiator repairman.

Surviving are his wife Sandy, daughter Patty Crawford, Kearney, MO, stepson Jason Messbarger, Gladstone, MO, step-daughter Jamie Brooke (Bill) Garvis, Kansas City, MO, four grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, brothers, Ronald (Ruth) Joy, Kearney, MO, Jim (Patty) Joy, Rogers, AR, Richard (Sharon) Joy, Lawson, MO, Dwight Joy, Saint Joseph, MO and Mark (Charlene)Joy, Jamestown, ND.

He was predeceased by brother Gerald "Jerry" Leonard Joy and daughter- in -law Emily Messbarger.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Price Funeral Home, 120 East First Street Maryville, Missouri with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ravenwood, MO.

A Celebration of Life will be held 6-8:00 PM December 1, 2016 at First Baptist Church, 2205 Iron Street, North Kansas City, Missouri.
