Gary Irwin Dienstbier, 79 of Maryville, MO. died Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph, MO.

Gary was born April 28, 1938 in Sabetha, Kansas, to the late Gerhardt Walter and Juanita Myrtle (Irwin) Dienstbier.

Gary was a high school graduate and attended technical school for 2 years.
He worked in metal protection plating. He was a member of Calvary Chapel, Maryville.

Gary served his country in the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Judith Rockhold and Diane Littles, and brother Dale Dienstbier.

Survivors include nieces Debbie (Roger) Guilford, Farragut, IA, Lisa (Mark) Wilczek, Rockport, MO, and Lori (Rod) McKnney, Maryville, and nephew Thomas (Joy) Rockhold, Reynoldsburg, OH.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, August 4, 2017, at the Calvary Chapel , Maryville.
