Fred E. Peters

Fred E. Peters, 87, of Maryville, Missouri passed away on Tuesday,

September 8, 2026, at Village Care Center.

Fred was born on June 23, 1939, in Maryville, Missouri to Clayton and

Lela (Davis) Peters. He was a graduate of Pickering High School and was

an electrician for Energizer for 42 years. Fred was a Biker and enjoyed

rebuilding Studebakers, going to car shows, reading, and working in the

yard.

He married Carol Carmichael, on January 6, 1962, in Savannah, Missouri.

She survives of the home. Additional survivors include their children,

James Peters, Rena Burson and Virginia (Jason) Ripple; six

grandchildren, Savanah, Amanda, Heather, Nicole, Jynette and Justice

and three great-grandchildren.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, two granddaughters,

Elizabeth and Jessie, his brother, Frank Peters and his two sisters, Alice

Campbell and Lula Harmes.

Mr. Peters has been cremated under the care of Price Funeral Home. A

private family burial will be held at a later date at White Oak Cemetery

in Pickering, Missouri.
