Floyd Valdo Linville, 98, of Skidmore, Missouri passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023 in Maryville.

Floyd was born on December 30, 1924 in Skidmore, Missouri to Jesse and Leona (Tygart) Linville. He was a graduate of Skidmore High School and was a retired farmer and carpenter. He was a member of the Skidmore Christian Church and an avid animal lover. Floyd was a master gardener and would donate the produce.

He married Betty Chapman on November 28, 1957 in Maryville, Missouri. She preceded him in death on May 9, 2011. He was also preceded by his parents and lifelong friend and caregiver Tracy Proffit.

He is survived by lifelong friends and caregivers Debbie Proffit and her daughter Tara (Jeff) Lyle and their son, Trystan and long time friends and neighbors, Brian (Carol) Coffelt, and other lifelong friends, Rick Proffit, Terry Proffit, Kent, Proffit, Jon Proffit, Pam Jones, Chrissy Adsit and Chris Proffit.

Graveside Services 1pm Saturday, November 4th at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Skidmore, Missouri under the care of Price Funeral Home. Public visitation will be held on Friday, November 3rd at the funeral home from 9:00am to 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be made to the New Nodaway Humane Society.
