Father Hugh Tasch, OSB , 86, died on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Conception Abbey, St. Stephen's Infirmary in Conception, Mo.

Born July 21, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Leon Tasch and Wanda (Miklas) Tasch.

He was a graduate of Conception Seminary College and
has been a Professed Roman Catholic Monk since September, 1951,
was Ordained as a Catholic Priest, April 6, 1957.
He was a Conception Seminary College Instructor, Spiritual Director,
and Chaplain for Sisters of St. Francis, Savannah, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include 3 cousins and his Monastic Community.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 AM, Monday, July 3, 2017 at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Conception, Mo. A visitation will be held at 5:30 Sunday, July 2, 2017 with Vespers of the Dead at 7:15 PM.

Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery, Conception, Mo.
