Ermel Loriene Joslin, 85, of Maryville, Missouri passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Maryville Living Center.
She was born September 18, 1932 near Barnard, Missouri to Charles Eldon and Susie Pearl (Langley) Throckmorton.
Ermel Loriene married William Virgil Joslin on June 14, 1950 in Maryville, Missouri. Graduated from Barnard High School and worked for St. Francis Hospital as a nurse's aide for 24 years. She was of the Christian faith.
Ermel Joslin was preceded in death by a daughter, Candia June Ebrecht in 1999, sister, Donna Black, brothers, Donald Throckmorton and infant brother, John Calvin Throckmorton and her husband William Virgil Joslin in 2006.
She is survived by her children, Virgil Dale, Erma Sue (David) Dredge and Russell Gale (Elizabeth) all of Maryville; 21 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Monday, December 11th at Price Funeral Home in Maryville, Missouri.
Services 2:00pm Tuesday, December 12th at Price Funeral Home. Interment Nodaway Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Easter Seals or to SSM Hospice in Ermel's name.
