Obituary

Elizabeth Jean Stoeckle, 69, of Maryville, Missouri passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022 at Village Care Center.

Elizabeth was born on July 19, 1952 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Clara (Hock) and William Stoeckle. She moved to the main campus of Bethesda in Watertown, Wisconsin in 1960 when she was 8 years old. Where she later graduated from and then worked from home. She liked to sew, cook and clean. Elizabeth moved to the Bethesda Lutheran Communities Group Home in Maryville in 1977. She was a confirmed Lutheran and attended Hope Lutheran Church.

Elizabeth retired from NOCOMO in March of 2016 after working there for 38 years. She enjoyed participating in Camp Rainbow, Camp Angel and Special Olympic activities. As Elizabeth grew older, she enjoyed relaxing at home, watching and cheering on her friends while they participated in their activities. She loved to collect, take and arrange pictures of people and herself that were important to her. She loved to collect watches, stuffed animals and anything Jojo Siwa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother and two aunts, Marie Guest and Jean Stauffer.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her friends, family and support staff.

Services 10am Monday, April 11th at Price Funeral Home. Private Burial will be held at the Wyuka Cemetery in Lincoln, Nebraska.
