Edmund was born October 19, 1942, in Maryville, Missouri to Francis Joseph and Marguerite Gertrude (Bleuel) Gross.

A 1960 graduate of Maryville High School, he was a Computer Operator
for the City of Kansas City.

He served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Preceding in death were his parents, 4 brothers: Bill, Donald, Karl, and David, 3 sisters: Mildred Peter, Rita Gross, and Elizabeth Rose Gross,
