Earl E. Seipel
1925-2019

Earl Edward Seipel, 94, of Maryville, Missouri passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas.

Earl was born on June 24, 1925 in Maryville, Missouri to Albert and Genevieve "Jenny" (Sturm) Seipel. He was a member of St. Gregory's Barbarigo Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the NFO. Earl was a lifetime farmer and a custodian for Bank Midwest for over 20 years and he enjoyed woodworking.

He married Agatha Caroline "Ace" Wiederholt on May 1, 1947 at the Conception Abbey in Conception, Missouri. She preceded him in death on November 3, 1997. He was also preceded by his parents, two sisters, Clara Louise Wilmes and Gertrude Zech, brother, Raymond Seipel, son, Larry Joseph Seipel, son-in-law, Phil Townsend and a granddaughter, Michele Seipel.

Survivors include his children, Gene (Barbara) Seipel, Paynesville, Minnesota, Barbara (Tom) Bein, St. Joseph, Missouri, JoAnn Townsend, Maryville, Missouri, Don (Linda) Seipel, Maryville, Missouri and Bill (Cathy) Seipel, Forney, Texas; thirteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

The Legacy he leaves shines brightly through his sons, daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and through the way each may choose to carry the best part of Earl with us every day.

Mass of Christian Burial 11am Tuesday, August 27th at St. Gregory's Barbarigo Catholic Church under the care of Price Funeral Home. Burial St. Mary's Cemetery, Maryville. The family will receive friends from 5:30pm to 8:00pm Monday, August 26th at St. Gregory's Barbarigo Catholic Church with the Rosary at 6pm.
