Dorothy Belcher

Dorothy Maye (Hatcher) Belcher passed from this life on Tuesday, November 7, 2017.

Dorothy was born August 6, 1927 in Pickering, MO to Berton Allen Hatcher and Sadie Naomi (Bomar) Hatcher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her only brother, Ralph LeRoy Hatcher and husband William Ervin Belcher Jr.

She is survived by son Steve Belcher and wife Marianna, Joplin, MO and daughter Billye Sue McCrary and husband Ron, Maryville; 4 grandchildren, Andrea Seutter, Firestone CO, Jason Melnick, Kirksville, MO, TJ Belcher Joplin, MO and Holt McCrary and wife Jenna, Pickering, MO; 7 great grandchildren Sydney Seutter, Corben Seutter, Jaden Melnick, Tyne Melnick, Aubrey Melnick, Eric Belcher and Finley Belcher.

Dorothy was a very dedicated fan of NWMSU Bearcats football, and the Kansas City Royals. She bowled in various leagues most of her life with trophies to show. She loved sports and music.

Her greatest joy was family, with the grandchildren and great grandchildren at the top of her list in recent years.

Her children remember her generosity, love and kindness and having great times with her while growing up.

Visitation will be 5-7 PM Friday, November 10th at Price Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville.

Graveside Service is 11 AM Saturday, November 11th at Miriam Cemetery, Maryville.
