Debra L. Kent, 66 of Elmo, Missouri passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the

Shenandoah Medical Center in Shenandoah, Iowa.

Debra was born on June 18, 1958 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Robert L. and Claudette P. (Brown)

Dye. She was a high school graduate and was a LPN at Parkdale Manor in Maryville.

Debra's hobbies include scrapbooking, crafting, cooking, and playing scrabble with her brother

and sister.

She married Dennis L. Kent on December 31, 1977 in Clearmont, Missouri. He preceded her in

death on September 12, 2020. She was also preceded by her parents, and two sisters, Shelly

Salyer and Kathy Jo Dye.

Survivors include her children, Tiffany (C Jay) Van Dyne, Oak Grove, Missouri, Georgina (Robert) Bamberry, Lenapah, Oklahoma and Rusty Kent, Coffeyville, Oklahoma; two brothers, Bill Dye Wellington, Kansas and Randy (Tammy) Dye, Elmo, Missouri ; sister, Sadie (Doug) Leabo, Elmo, Missouri; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; 5 nieces, 3 nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Kent has been cremated under the care of Price Funeral Home. A graveside memorial service will be held 11am Saturday, August 31st at the Elmo Cemetery, Elmo, Missouri.
