Darrell E. Charles, Sr. 83, Skidmore, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the Nodaway Nursing Home.

Darrell was born on February 18, 1941 in to Lawrence and Mary (Freece) Charles. He was a graduate of Nodaway Holt High School and had worked for Newton Brothers in Skidmore, Missouri and later McGregore Furniture and Mattress in Texas.

He married Laniss K. Kallauner. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his parents and eight siblings.

Survivors include his children, Kevin Charles, Kim Marriott, Darrell Charles, Jr. and Sara Mischler; sister, Hilda Talbott; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services 1:30pm Saturday, July 27th at Prairie Home Cemetery in Graham Missouri under the care of Price Funeral Home.
