Cody Welch, 33, of Maryville, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Mosaic Life Care in Maryville.
Cody was born on February 11, 1990 in Maryville to Kirby W. Welch and Carla L. (Morrow) Welch. He was a 2008 graduate of Maryville High School and was employed with Federal-Mogul in Maryville.
Cody was a member of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family from playing video games with his son to having tea parties with his daughter and always enjoyed dancing with the kids. He also enjoyed fishing with his son and nephews.
He married Jessica A. Barmann on October 22, 2016 in Maryville, Missouri. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include their children, Kyle and Zoey Welch of the home; father and step-mother, Kirby (Theresa) Welch, Bedford, Iowa, mother, Carla Welch, Maryville, Missouri; brother, Pete (Megan) Welch, Northboro, Iowa; two sisters, Amanda (Ryan) Gabbard, Milton, Florida and Shelby Welch (Jon Crawford), Bedford, Iowa; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sandy and Tim Barmann, Maryville, Missouri; sister-in-law, Jill (Nick) Siegel; brother-in-law, Jeremy Barmann (Tracy Otieno), brother-in-law, Josh Barmann; nine nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mary Lou and Bill Welch, and maternal grandparents, Chadrick Dwain Morrow and Virginia Lee Robison.
Wake Service 5:30pm Monday, November 20th at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. The family will receive friends following the wake service until 8pm.
Mass of Christian Burial 11am Tuesday, November 21st at at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church under the care of Price Funeral Home. Mr. Welch will be cremated following the service.
The family suggests memorials be made in care of Jessica Welch for their children's education.
