Caroline Elizabeth Pettit, 85, Maryville, Missouri, formerly of Logan, Iowa, died Thursday, August 4, 2016, at Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph.

Caroline was born March 9, 1931, in Grand Island, Nebraska to John J. and Freda Werner Gorham.

A graduate of St. John's High School, Omaha NE, she was a retired Med-Aide.

She married Donald Wayne Pettit on Saturday, July 23, 1955, in Omaha, Nebraska.

Caroline was a member of the St . Ann's Catholic Church in Logan.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Donald Wayne Pettit (12-9-2004), sister Mary Brown and brothers John and Paul Gorham.

Surviving Caroline are her daughters
Nancy (Jim) Norberg, Saint Louis, MO,
Amy (Chris) Nally, Maryville, MO,
grandchildren
Brett, Nicole, Michelle, and Alyssa Norberg,
Amanda and Trent Nally,
brother Jim Gorham, Longmont, CO
and several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Logan Memorial Chapel, Logan, Iowa, with inurnment in Harris Grove Cemetery, Logan.
