Topeka, Kansas - Alma Louise Stuart. 98, died July 8, 2020 at Rolling Hills Care Center in Topeka, Kansas. Louise was a longtime resident of Barnard.
She was born January 25, 1922 in Barnard to Jacob and Mary Orrick Owens.
On March 18, 1939 she married Lester Lawrence Stuart in Savannah, Missouri.
Louise was a farm wife and worked many years at the Barnard Post Office and several years after retirement at Walmart in Maryville. She was a member of the Barnard United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son Laverne, four-sisters and five-brothers.
Louise is survived by her daughter Sharon Farnan, Valley, Nebraska, her son Rick (Holly) in Topeka, Kansas, five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services for the family was held at Nodaway Memorial Gardens in Maryville.
