Marvin A. Henggeler
1936 - 2019

Marvin A. Henggeler, 83, of Maryville, Missouri passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019 at the Village Care Center in Maryville.

Marvin was born on August 28, 1936 in Clyde, Missouri to Anthony J. and Inez L. (Lacy) Henggeler. He served in the United States Army National Guard. He was a member of St. Gregory’s Barbarigo Catholic Church, Elks Club #760, Maryville and the Tri-C American Legion Post #464. He was the owner and operator of Marvin’s Installation Service in Maryville. Marvin enjoyed woodworking and playing games with his family.

He married Marlee A. Adwell on September 15, 1960 in Albany, Missouri. She survives of the home. Additional survivors are their children, Dana Taylor, Gladstone, Missouri, Tad (Susan) Henggeler, Maryville, Missouri, Shaun (Karyn) Henggeler, Excelsior Springs, Missouri and Denise (Mitch) Taylor, Villisca, Iowa and one sister, Virginia Hainey, Belton, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Albert and Gerald “Doc” Henggeler and one sister, Adeline Walker.

Mass of Christian Burial 11:30am Tuesday, September 3rd at St. Gregory’s Barbarigo Catholic Church under the care of Price Funeral Home. Mr. Henggeler will be cremated following the funeral mass. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Monday, September 2nd at the Price Funeral Home in Maryville. The family suggests memorials to the St. Gregory’s Catholic Maintenance Fund.
