Marjorie Marie Saxton, age 91, of Bolckow, Missouri passed away on June 9, 2019.

She was born to Floyd and Hazel (Collins) Staggs on May 23, 1928 in Guilford, Missouri. Marjorie had resided in rural Nodaway and Andrew County her entire life until becoming a resident of Oak Pointe of Maryville in May of 2017.

Marjorie wed Richard Saxton on November 5, 1947 in Barnard, Missouri. They celebrated 61 years of marriage before his death on April 30, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her brother Robert Staggs.

Marjorie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to sew, garden, go camping and fishing, and work alongside her husband on the farm.

She is survived by her four children Elaine (David) Hahn of Dresden, Ohio, Vickie Saxton of Savannah, Missouri, Dennis (Lynette) Saxton of St. Joseph, Missouri and Cheryl (Tim) Lewis of Bolckow, Missouri; eight grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

A private memorial graveside service and burial was held in her honor.
