Obituary

Joseph M. Gigliotti
1968 - 2019

Joseph M. “Joe” Gigliotti, 51, of Maryville, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 10, 2019.

Joe was born on February 23, 1968 in Amherst, Ohio to Marco and Nancy Gigliotti.
A graduate of Edinburg High School, Edinburg Tx. Joe attended Fairfax school also and was a proud member of the class of 1986. Joe spent 22 years with Joyce Dredge of Maryville Mo and enjoyed raising Joyce’s two wonderful children, and cherished his time being a Pa Pa with their children now. During Joe’s career he wore many hats, as an over the road Hazmat driver, grain hauler for local farmers, HVAC owner, and construction jobs. He recently worked for Northwest Heating & Cooling, of Maryville Mo. Joe was a proud member of AARP and an avid Kansas Chiefs fan. 3 years ago Joe met an amazing gal who turned his life into fun and laughter, Nancy Swanson and Joe enjoyed traveling on their motorcycles and camping in their RV. Everyone would agree Joe was free spirited and didn’t know a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, father and one sister, Judith Gigliotti.

Survivors include his mother, Nancy Gigliotti, Tucson, Arizona; companion, Nancy Swanson of the home; seven brothers and sisters, Mark (Jessica) Gigliotti, Richardson, Texas, Joyce Harris (Chris Strough), Burlington Junction, Missouri, Mike (Chris) Gigliotti, Ozark, Missouri, Debbie Gigliotti, Dallas, Texas, Jeff (Staci) Gigliotti, Georgetown, Texas, John (Jeannie) Gigliotti, Spicewood, Texas, Rebecca (Dustin) Barton, Austin, Texas, many nieces and nephews and his non-biological children Justin (Tiffany) Dredge and Jaylene (Chris) Rhodes all of Maryville, Missouri.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Joseph Michael Gigliotti. When we lose a loved ones in death it is never easy. We eagerly look forward to the day when Jehovah God will bring to life our loved ones that have fallen asleep in death (John 5:28,29). God promises that soon death will be no more (Revelation 21:4).
