Jim was a good friend and a member of our Postmaster/Rural carrier work team. I remember the really good advice he gave me. He said when you're ready to retire you'll know it. He was really right on and I took his advice at age 68 when I had so much going on that I did't have time to work. Verda Kurtz, former postmaster of Forest City Mo.

So very sorry to read of Jim's passing. Jim was a good man with a great sense of humor, and I always enjoyed talking with him [as I think nearly everyone did!] May your memories comfort you and the love you share with him bring you peace in the coming days and weeks.
