Hello Martin! So sorry about your mother. Has been a long time since school at South Nodaway. My parents were John and Garnet Leedy. I remember your mom and dad quite well. John, I feel like I know you as your mother and I communicate fairly often. She and I share the same birth date and graduated from high school together (1966).I wanted to extend my sympathy to you also. Melba Leedy Mier

Barney and Puddy were friends of my parents and they were also friends of Barney's parents. Puddy gave me a seedling evergreen tree from her home in Barnard and it is now a big tree. It reminds me of her each time I walk past it. I also remember how much both of them thought of their dog, Sassy. I am sorry for your loss.
