Butch was always so kind and friendly when I went to college and worked auctions in Maryville. I always checked in and he almost felt so inviting and familiar. My sincerest condolences to the family of such a kind gentle soul.

I didn't know Butch very well, but I met him a number of times when Margaret was being treated after a car accident in 1970, and the thing that I'll always remember most is how proud Margaret was of him - she told lots of stories about him, and it was obvious how close the two of them were. It was easy to see that she and Charley felt like they'd raised a great son. In later years, whenever I saw them, they'd always have a "Butch" story. I was sorry to read of his passing; may your memories of him bring you comfort. Hugs & prayers for your peace and comfort.
