Melvin Parshall, 83, Burlington Junction, Missouri died Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at the Fairfax Community Hospital, Fairfax, Missouri. The son of Everett Arnold and Fern Valentine (Graham)Parshall Melvin was born September 8, 1924 in Burlington Junction, Missouri. He graduated from Quitman High School, Quitman, Missouri and he married Clara Louise Crockett May 9, 1943 in Maryville, Missouri. Melvin was a member of the Quitman Methodist Church. He was a farmer and he sold Moorman Feeds. He loved hunting, fishing and bowling. Melvin was preceded in death by his wife: Clara on August 23, 2002; his parents and a grandson: Dickie Parshall. Survivors include his children and their spouses: Gary and Judy Parshall, Clearmont, Missouri; Dickie Parshall, and Roger and Nikki Parshall, all of Tarkio Missouri; Gloria and Bill Martz, Burlington Junction, Missouri; Shirley Kay and Rodney Wake and Kristie and Skeeter Hale, both of Rock Port, Missouri; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and a brother: Arnold Parshall, Burlington Junction, Missouri. Visitation is 6-8pm Friday, September 21, 2007 at Price Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville. Funeral services are 10:30am Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Price Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Quitman Cemetery, Quitman, Missouri. Memorials may be made to the Fairfax Community Hospital in Melvin's name.
