Sr. Joan Catherine Perridge, OSB, 85, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at our Lady of Rickenbach Infirmary, Clyde.
Joan Catherine was born July 25, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of William James and Hanna (Carlton) Perridge.
After joining the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration in 1955, Sr. Joan made her first Profession of Vows on March 13, 1958. She had worked as a Portress, a Bookkeeper, in the Correspondence Department and in the Altar Bread Department at various monasteries in Missouri and California.
Sr. Joan Catherine was preceded in death by her Parents, a Sister, Virginia Louis Roth and a Brother: William James Perridge Jr.
Survivors include a Brother: Robert Carlton; Sisters: Anna Marie (James) Heavy; Lois Eileen Walker; Kathleen Marie (Eugene) Klein; several Nieces and Nephews and her Monastic Family of Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration..
A Wake Service will be 7:00 pm Thursday, August 16, 2012, in Our Lady of Rickenbach Chapel, Clyde, Missouri.
Mass of Christian Burial is 7:30 am Friday, August 17, 2012, at the Monastery Chapel, with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Clyde, Missouri.
