Jo Ellen "Jody" Zimmerman, 71, died Monday, May 28, 2012, at her residence, Maryville, Missouri.
Jo was born June 1, 1940, in rural Harrison County, Missouri to Eldon and Dorothy Greenall Peery.
A 1958 graduate of the Gilman City High School, Jo was a Program Technician at the USDA Nodaway County Farm Service Agency, Maryville, for 16 years retiring in 2003.
She married Jerome "Jerry" Zimmerman September 2, 1988, in St. Joseph, Missouri who preceded her in death.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, son in law Kent Fuhrman, and brother in law Charles Wilson.
Surviving are son Bruce (Kimmie) Schaeffer, Blue Springs, MO, daughters Beth Ann Fuhrman, Merriam, KS, Jeanie Schaeffer, Kansas City, KS, Kimberly Schaeffer (Jim Fuhrman) Skidmore, MO, step son Greg Zimmerman (Linda), Plattsburg, MO, step daughter Angela Zimmerman, grandchildren August, Austin, Alec Fuhrman, Elizabeth Schaeffer, Maggie and John Fuhrman,
brother Tom Peery, Melbourne, MO, and sisters Sara Ann Wilson, Maryville, Linda Gibson, Trenton, MO, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, June 4, 2012, at Price Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri with burial in Miriam Cemetery, Maryville.
A visitation will be held 5-7:00 PM, Sunday, June 3, 2012, at the Price Chapel, Maryville.
Memorials may be made to Nodaway Holt High School FCCLA, % Heather Wilmes, and SSM Hospice of Northwest Missouri, 2016 South Main, Maryville, Missouri 64468 in Jo's name.

Located approximately 45 minutes North of St. Joseph, Missouri, via Interstate 29 North to US 71 North (Exit 56A), Price Funeral Home is located at the corner of First and Market in Maryville, Missouri.
Coming from the South: Stay on US 71 North (1st stop light) to the intersection of MO 46 & US 71/136 Highways (2nd Stop Light). At the light turn left onto MO 46 West, continue going straight West 14 blocks. Turn left on Market, and the funeral home parking lots (upper and lower levels) are to the left.
Coming from the North: Stay on US 71/136 South (1st stop light) to the intersection of MO 46/US136. Merge right onto MO 46 West, continue straight on First Street traveling 14 blocks to Market (turn left), and the parking lots are on the east side of Market Street.
Coming from the East: Stay on MO46/US136 West (1st stop light), continue straight on First Street to the intersection of Market Street. Turn left and the parking lots are on the left.
Coming from the West: Stay on MO46 East (First Street), continue on through 1st stop light (First and Main), go one block East, turn right on Market, and parking is on the left.
