Mary Katherine (Brady) Sturm, 93 Conception Jct., Missouri passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at St. Francis Hospital, Maryville, Missouri.

Mary was born January 31, 1919 in Conception , Missouri, the daughter of the late Bernard and Mary Cecelia (Maher) Brady. She was a graduate of St. Benedict's High School Clyde, Missouri. She married Robert Sturm on October 18, 1939.

Mary was a member of St. Columba Parish and member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She was passionate about life, traveling, and her beloved family and friends. She will be dearly missed by many and will remain in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 1983, sons Jerald and Ronald Sturm, daughter in law Carol Sturm, sisters, Helen Stoll, Thelma Sullivan, Anna Laura Rogers, Rita Mulligan, brothers Edward , Michael, Charlie, Bernard, John, and Maurice Brady.

Survivors include her children: Jo Ann Sturm, Kansas City, Missouri, Patrick (Carolyn) Sturm, Maryville, Robert Sturm, Ames Iowa, five grandchildren Renae Sturm, Maryville, Kim (Andy) Welch, Sheridan, Missouri, Robert (Dannielle) Sturm, Conception Jct., Chris Sturm, Houston, Texas, Alyssa Sturm, Denver Colorado, six great grandchildren Kyle Welch, Jerry Welch, Tate Welch, Drew Welch, Jayden Sturm, Alexis Mae Sturm.

A family rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the Price Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville.

The Parish Prayer Service will be 6:00 PM, Friday, March 9, 2012 at the St. Columba Catholic Church, Conception, Jct., followed by a visitation in the church hall.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the St. Columba Catholic Church with burial following in St. Columba Cemetery, Conception, Missouri.

Memorials may be given to the Conception Abbey Scholarship Fund or SSM Hospice of Northwest Missouri.
